Award winning Cake Designer Rachel Hains offers a fully personalised design service, working with every client, offering a professional and attentive service from inspiration all the way through to your special day. 


Rachel designs cakes that not only provide a treat for the eyes, but by using only the finest and freshest ingredients available ensures a delight for the palate too.


Owner and founder of Little Cake Cupboard, Rachel Hains, is a formally trained Illustrator and Designer turned self taught Cake Artist. Her award winning cakes are known for their modern aesthetic, delicate florals, creative use of sugar paste and exquisite attention to detail.


Rachel’s love of baking began at a very early age. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2006 it was her passion to mix her love of design with her love of the kitchen and in Summer 2012 the Little Cake Cupboard was born! 


Rachel’s unique vision and style soon built up a strong reputation within the Wedding and Cake Industry and she went on to win the prestigious Welsh National Wedding Award 'Best Wedding Cakes' for 3 years running, before relocating to beautiful Nantwich, Cheshire in 2017.

Rachel now takes much delight in designing contemporary, edible creations in the beautiful Little Cake Cupboard studio, as well as teaching other professionals and hobbyists how to create them too.
